About the Author

Jennifer Dobbs’s experience of being lost in China led her to study Montessori teaching methods in Bergamo and Perugia, Italy. As a Montessori teacher, Dobbs helped open five schools in Pennsylvania and Mississippi. She holds a bachelor of arts in English, a bachelor of science in psychology, and a master’s in school counseling. After years of working with children, Dobbs joined the FedEx operations and sales training departments and worked in China when the company first initiated service there. Dobbs is now dedicated to animal rescue. She incorporated a group called Pet matchmaker Rescue South, which cares for and places hundreds of dogs and cats each year. Dobbs currently lives in Memphis, Tennessee. Lost in China is her first book.
